Dowry Square in Hotwells Bristol is a perfect film location for period productions. This beautiful Georgian square was constructed 300 years ago in the early 18th century, retains its original features and now incorporates a gorgeous central garden.
Our most recent filming contract was with Mammoth Films in summer 2024 for the filming of The Forsytes, a six-part adaptation of John Galsworthy’s Forsyte Saga, being broadcast on Channel 5 in the UK later in 2025. The series features interior scenes filmed in one of Dowry Square’s most historic houses as well outdoor scenes filmed in both the square and garden.
